A Weekend on the Peninsula

Whenever people talk about the Mornington Peninsula, there is always a certain joy emanating as they tell me where they had been, what they saw and discovered.
I had only ever visited Red Hill for work years ago, so when the chance came up to visit all the way to the tip of Portsea, I was ready.

After a hectic start to the year and getting ready to launch Rosedale on the same weekend, Mike and I took this opportunity to slow down and unwind seaside on the seriously idyllic spot, only an hour south of Melbourne.

Recently unveiled with its multi-million-dollar renovation, the barefoot luxe new InterContinental hotel was the perfect spot to stay, and we made the trip short 1.5 hour trip from Melbourne to Sorrento in the new Range Rover, in satin gold to keep the luxe theme going….

Here’s our favourite spots in and around Sorrento, Portsea and beyond.
